My husband’s favorite coffee! If you like a dark, french roast- you’ll like this one, plus it has the terrific Senseo creamy foam on top! A nice way to start the morning or finish off a great evening meal.
I do like the Dark Roast best. My only complaint is there aren’t enough pods per package. Only 9 cups of coffee per bag when you use double pods for a larger cup of java as I do. I”m almost out of coffee again!
I’ve been using my Senseo coffee maker for few years now. I love it. I use different flavors for different moods.It’s also great for parties as everyone can special order. This coffee is much better than average coffee. It is not quite Starbucks but sure runs a close second place to the cafe drinks.
I’m not a coffee snob, barely drinking a cup a week, but my significant other needs a strong mugful every morning. The pods and the Senseo machine are perfect for this; barely takes 2-minutes to brew. The 6-pack box comes out to about 30cents a cup even with the added latte packets (60cents when two are used for a strong mug serving). I’m hoping the money saved by avoiding Starbucks every morning will go to my potato chip addiction….

I was turned on to this coffee by my dad. The Senseo coffee maker is fast, easy to clean, and best of all, makes great coffee. This dark roast blend is the best. It is smooth and rich. You won’t be let down.
These dark roast coffee pods are a little stronger than the others I have tried but they still have a great taste. When you need a quick strong brew this is what you want.

I have been buying the dark roast coffee for several years now. I randomly buy other brands to try BUT I always come back to Senseo! Love Love this coffee!
I love the Senseo coffee pods. cheaper than the Bosch pods we have at work and better taste too. Simple to use and simpler to dispose the spent pods. PLUS if I really want to use the coffee outside of the pods; I simply empty 3-5 pods into a old school paper filter and I can make a entire pot of drip brew just as easily.
I cannot understand why this system is not as popular in my area (North Eastern US)
O-Well I guess that is OK; as I can get good deals on the pods when it is time to replenish my stockpile
I have been addicted to a good Senseo for ages. Best coffee ever IMHO. Just a little dollop of sweeten condensed milk ontop of a double cup of Senseo is a perfect beverage thats stimulating, warm, and simply tasty.
Being from Chicago area, I love good strong, full bodied coffee. And this product is just that. The Senseo brews it well but these little pads of coffee give you only one European size cup not the big hit-you-in-the-eye cup. So don’t go cheap, push the demi-tasse button and drink a real but small cup of coffee.
I love coffee but its not economical to brew a whole pot when I just want a cup or two. This is a super solution. The coffee is very good and its one cup at a time. Great flavor too, I am very happy with my Senseo machine and these coffee pods are perfect!
For my money and taste, Senseo’s Dark is the best coffee available. I am not alone. Amtrak uses Douwe Egbert on their
Auto Train and perhaps the fleet.
