My sister gave me one of these and I am really enjoying it. So far it is having no problems. I have used some Senseo brand coffee pods but I have also used regular tea bags in it with no problem. Great Product!

I read so many reviews of different individual coffee makers that my head was spinning. I really liked the fact that the Senseo produced the froth and the only downside of the Senseo seemed to be that they don’t offer every flavored coffee that you can imagine. So when I started my pros and cons list it ran something like this: Pro: Senseo was less expensive than most other single cup brewers; Senseo provided a frothy finish to each cup; Con: Senseo didn’t have as many options in the flavored coffee group. Well, I don’t particularlly like flavored coffee so what was the problem? NONE!! And I am very satisfied with my choice. My husband and I use it every day. Our 12 cup maker is lonely sitting beside the Senseo on our counter and only gets used when we do a special grind for a full pot. I would recommend Senseo to anyone who likes a cup of good rich coffee and if you only like fancy flavors sometimes, buy some flavored creamer. Oh, and by the way, I have had no trouble at all with any leakage as some reviewers talked about. Must have been a problem on older models.

I was served Senseo coffee in a restaurant and it was honestly the best cup of coffee I had ever had. The waitress said they made the coffee one cup at a time and told me the brand was Douwe Egbert – so I was on a mission when I got home to find that coffee! Just had to have that crema on top This search of course led me to the Senseo coffee pod machine and I’ve been in love with it from Day One. I’ve purchased 3 so far – one for a gift and 2 to use at different locations. The only problems I’ve had have been operator errors Getting in a hurry and pushing the 4 oz buttom to prime the machine – only to realize I had not latched the top down, and bumping the bottom of the reservoir when sitting it back on the machine. If you bump the little place where the water is siphoned out, guess what? You got it, water comes out! Anyway, if you pay attention to what you’re doing you should have no problems. I have tried maybe 10 varieties of the coffee and love them all (haven’t tried the flavored ones like vanilla or hazelnut). It is a great machine and I highly recommend it.

We finally replaced our 4 year old Senseo Single Serve. I was a little worried about the negative reviews, especially the “smell” factor. When we unpacked the machine, there was no odor. It performs beautifully, as did our last machine. We use the machine 3 to 4 times a day, and could not be more pleased.

We’ve purchased the Senseo machine since we know it from Germany where it is quite popular. I don’t drink coffee but my husband does drink around 2 cups per day, which makes this machine perfect, as you always get a good coffee per serving that will always be fresh and creamy instead of having a whole pot of coffee cooked that is less tasty and a waste for just one person. It is easy to handle, quick and he is the happiest man in the morning, looking forward to his creamy coffee. And the guest will love it too. It is definitely a good investment if you like good coffee and it is a “press-the-button” away from you.
