We rated the Keurig B60 Special Edition Our #1 Single Cup Coffee Maker of 2010. The Keurig B60 Special Edition made such a great impression on us, we kept going back to it after we did reviews on other coffee makers. It's so easy to use it barely needs instructions. Fill the removable water reservoir (it holds 48 oz.), open the lid and place your preferred K-cup, close lid and select your brewing size (5.25 oz, 7.25 oz and 9.25 oz). In about 30 seconds, you'll have your gourmet coffee perfectly brewed every time. The K-cup are little pods of coffee premeasured for the Keurig machines and with over 150 different kinds of coffee pods, you'll never grow tired of trying new and refreshing types of coffee. Once your coffee is done, it's time to clean up. Open the lid and remove the used K-cup, throw it away. The clean up is complete! It couldn't be easier.

It's simple, this gourmet coffee maker makes coffee comparable to expensive coffee shops and in some cases, even better. Don't even think for a minute that you'll still need a larger coffee maker for when company comes over, your family and friends will be picking their own type of coffee pod to try. We rated the Senseo SL7810/65 Gourmet Coffee Maker our #2 single cup coffee maker of 2010. The Senseo is an excellent coffee maker with thousands of happy customers. It's one of the few coffee makers currently on the marker that produces a frothy coffee layer when brewing a cup of coffee. This is due to the Senseo gently pushing the fresh coffee through the coffee pod and into a patented "frothing chamber". From there the Senseo distributes either a single or double serving of gourmet coffee simultaneously in under 45 seconds flat.

The single of double serving is either a 4oz or 8oz cup of coffee. The 4oz serving will require one senseo coffee pod and the 8oz serving will require two pods which sit on top of each other in the pod chamber. The main reason we rated the Senseo SL7810/65 Gourmet Coffee Maker our #2 single cup coffee maker is primarily due to the limited variety of coffee pods available. There are many different kinds of pods available from cappuccino to expresso, and Vienna: Hazelnut Waltz to Paris: French Vanilla. In all there's about a dozen or slightly more different kinds of Senseo pods available which will satisfy almost any coffee lover but it's dwarfed by Keurig's variety of 150+ different coffee pods.

In conclusion, the Senseo gourmet coffee maker is an excellent system and has been proven worthy by many coffee lovers with years of faithful service. The Senseo coffee maker is an excellent choice with inexpensive coffee pods averaging about $0.25 per pod which is the least expensive coffee pods currently available on the market. The inexpensive price of the pods and the fact that it's a sturdy and well built coffee maker should make any coffee connoisseur delighted. Pick one up today, you'll be brewing rich, hot, flavorful and frothy coffee for years to come.
